Pakistan are all set to face the Prime Minister’s XI in a four-day contest in Canberra before taking on Australia in a three-match Test series. Australia will host Pakistan in the first Test from December 14 in Perth, which will be followed by the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne and the New Year’s Test in Sydney.Â
Sarfraz Sarfaraz has declared that Pakistan are in a good position to take on Australia in the match against the PM’s XI. Pakistan have never won a Test series against Australia, having lost 13 times in a row.
Sarfraz said that Australia have good players in their batting line-up, but Pakistan are no less well-equipped. “We have Abdullah, Babar and Imam, as well as Saud and Agha, so we are ready to take on Australia,” he said. “Shaheen and Hassan are two of the best players in the world, and we also have Mir Hamza and Khurram Sheikh and Fahim who have proved their quality in domestic cricket.
